THE GREAT INVOCATION

From the point of Light
within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into
the minds of humanity.

From the point of Love
within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into
the hearts of humanity
May Christ return to Earth.

From the center where the
Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little
will of humanity.
The purpose which the
Masters know and serve.

From the center which we
call the race of humanity
Let the Plan of Love and
Light work out.
And may it seal the door
where evil dwells.

Let Light, Love, and The Holy Spirit
restore God's Divine Plan on Earth.

23rd Psalm

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
he restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
and the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer For the Dying

Holy Spirit,
Be present to all who are dying
Sustain them by your power;
Console them by your love.
Even in their sufferings
Fill them with your joy.
When their eyes
Close to the things of this world
Grant that they may open them again on you
Unfailing Light.
And grant that, losing this world,
They may gain all things,
Resting in the eternal possession of you.

A Thanksgiving Prayer

Oh God, when I have food, help me to remember the hungry;  When I have work, help me to remember the jobless;  When I have a warm home, help me to remember the homeless; When I am without pain, help me to remember those who suffer; And remembering, help me to destroy my complacency and bestir my compassion. Make me concerned enough to help, by word and deed, those who cry out for what we take for granted.

Saint Jude Prayer

I believe, oh glorious apostle Saint Jude, that you are in Heaven at the favor of Jesus Christ, contemplating divine peace, possessing God, constitute your eternal happiness.

You returned the graces of Jesus with constant loyalty, and you loved Him with all your heart.

Your devotion made you fly to instill in the heart of the multitudes, the productive seed of truth of the Protector of the despaired.

In payment for so much courage and for your most worthy works, sinners spilled your blood with insane cruelty.

Give me the grace to repent for my sins, to live with his friendship, to initiate your example, and to die fulfilling my duties as a Christian.

Please grant me the request of:  (state your request here).

If what I ask from God does not oppose my eternal salvation, give it to me, as I entreat your Holy Father with veneration of faith.

Amen                        [back to top]

A House Blessing Prayer

God bless the corners of this house, and be the lintel blest; and bless the hearth and bless the board and bless each place of rest; And bless each door that opens wide to stranger and to kin; And bless each crystal window pane that lets the starlight in; And bless the roof tree overhead and every sturdy wall. The peace of man, the peace of God, The peace of love on all.
