Sacred Ceremony Oil: The importance of Ceremony has always been recognized by ancient people. Ceremony helps improve our relationship with all creation. Ceremony is a respectful way to give back to the Creator. When we give and receive we live in balance and harmony with Nature and all our relations. The Sacred Ceremony Oil helps us prepare and enter ceremony in a respectful way. This oil cannot replace traditional ceremonies . What it can do is help connect us with the energies of a particular ceremony when the traditional ceremony is unavailable to us. It is also excellent for grounding after ceremony. Sacred Ceremony Oil can also be applied to your medicine tools such as , Sacred Pipe, Drum, Rattle etc. Use two drops on sacred objects and two drops on person prior to ceremony. Use two drops to help you ground after ceremony. Most ceremonies begin with a smudging ( cleansing
with the smoke of burning herbs). To learn traditional ceremonies study
with a medicine person and only perform ceremony when they have given
you permission to do so. Some ceremonies require a long and demanding
apprenticeship. Taking classes or a few workshops is not an apprenticeship
program.
Grandmother Moon Oil: Our early ancestors centered their lives around the phases of Grandmother moon. The moon’s energy has always played an important role in the lives of people who linked the various phases of the moon with certain rituals, magic rites, life passages and ceremonial occasions. Special-purpose rituals should be performed when the moon is in the phase believed to signal the receptivity of the Goddess to particular kinds of requests. The Triple Goddess is an ancient symbol in many cultures. The goddess trinity is symbolic of three distinct periods in the life of a woman. The maiden aspect is represented by the new moon, the mother aspect is represented by the full moon and the crone is represented by the waning moon. Women need to make time for honoring and reflecting upon each stage of life. We can link the power of lunar energy to our personal goals and objectives. Each phase of the moon brings its own particular power and certain lunar aspects which are more favorable for attaining goals. Knowing the moon’s phases can help you plan and prepare for change, new beginnings, and endings, which are inevitable cycles in the phases of human life. Rituals can be enhanced by using the moon and its cycles for specific purposes. Working with the moon’s energy serves to increase your own personal power and support your intention. Use 3 drops in bath water, on wrist or in shower. Sacred tools may also be anointed with Grandmother Moon Oil. Apply before rituals and ceremonies, Goddess work or other special purposes. Always state your intention prior to special purpose rituals and visualize your goals and objectives. All moon phases honor the Goddess.
Grandfather Sun: In ancient times Grandfather Sun was worshipped by many cultures. Today, the sun in still an essential part of our lives. This glowing globe faithfully journeys across our skies giving us a sense of security that we can relate to and rely upon. Our sun infuses life into all things. All creatures of the earth are wholly dependent upon the energies it so generously bestows. Each morning when the sun rises, birds sing, flowers open, and animals begin to stir. We wake up to a new day which is a new beginning and darkness fades away. Without the life giving rays of the sun nothing could grow on Mother Earth. Our world would be cold and dark and nothing would be able to survive. Whether we speak of the sun as our father, brother or grandfather, the sun continues to play an important role in all of our lives. The sun represents vitality, power, glory, illumination, light, warmth, strength, healing, and life. We too are sparks of the central fire which also represents our spiritual selves. The sun represents our God-like potentials. Grandfather Sun is masculine and is solar energy. The sun is associated with our conscious mind. Giving thanks for everything helps us understand our relationship and connection with the sun and all of our relations. Use this oil when you need to be logical, practical and fully in the present moment. If you are starting something new or need to be stronger in faith this oil will help initiate change. If you are too emotional this oil will help you find balance and stability. Use 3 drops of this oil on your wrist, in your bath water or in the shower. Sacred tools may also be anointed with Grandfather Sun Oil. Always state your intention prior to special purpose rituals and visualize your goals and objectives.
Father Sky: From the earliest of times people honored and were in awe of all that they saw in the sky. The sun, moon, earth and stars, the thunder, lightening, rains, and winds were always power- full, mysterious, and represented deity and the unknown. Today, we can apply traditional ancient wisdom with current knowledge in these modern times. Understanding that all things are dependent on each other helps maintain the balance that exists in all nature. The ability to survive today still depends on establishing right relations with the animal, plant, mineral and human kingdoms. Respecting all things helps us live peacefully with all of our relations. Our ancestors knew that they were connected to the earth, fire, water and air. Father Sky was above them as elements: weather, air, thunder, storms, wind, clouds, rain, light, cold, warmth of the sun, and the shinning stars. Below them was Mother Earth and all that lived upon her. The partnership of both was needed to reproduce. Earth is the realm of Our Mother and Heaven is the realm of Our Father. All creation depends on this balanced relationship. We refer to the sky and earth as Father Sky and Mother Earth in respect of this cooperative, connected partnership. Use this oil to help you understand the sacred flow that exist in all things. It is part of us and we are all part of it. To connect yourself with Father Sky and the power of the planets, the sun, moon, water, light, wind, fire, and all of the elements, use three drops of this oil in the bath, shower or on wrist. Sacred tools may also be anointed with the Father Sky Oil. Always state your intention prior to special purpose rituals and visualize your goals and objectives.
